TruvaLink Notary – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to TruvaLink Notary. By using our website, booking services, creating an account, or participating in the TruvaLink Notary Partner Program, you agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, notaries, and field inspectors.

TruvaLink Notary may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept any changes.

1. Not a Law Firm – No Legal Advice

TruvaLink Notary is not a law firm, and none of our employees, agents, contractors, or notaries are attorneys.
We do not provide legal advice, legal interpretation, or legal recommendations.
Nothing on this website or in our communications should be considered legal advice.

If you have legal questions or concerns about the documents you are signing or creating, you must consult with a licensed attorney in your state.

2. General Notary Services

Our notaries verify identity, witness signatures, and complete notarial certificates according to state law. We do not:
• Draft documents
• Select documents for you
• Edit or review document content
• Guarantee legal sufficiency of any document

You are responsible for reviewing your documents before your appointment.
TruvaLink Notary is not responsible for third-party rejection of notarized documents.

3. Mobile Notary & Remote Online Notary (RON) Services

All appointments require valid ID, completed documents, and adherence to your state’s legal requirements.

TruvaLink Notary is not responsible for:
• ID verification failures
• Technological issues on the client’s side
• Delays caused by lenders, title companies, or county offices
• Rejections based on individual institution policies

RON services require stable internet access. Failed sessions may incur additional fees.

4. Real Estate Closing Services

We facilitate document execution only. We do not:
• Explain loan terms
• Interpret documents
• Provide legal advice
• Guarantee funding or recording

Your lender, title company, or attorney is solely responsible for explaining all loan terms.

5. Field Inspection Services

Field inspections are visual-only assessments based on observable conditions at the time of inspection.
We do not provide appraisals, valuations, code compliance checks, or structural evaluations.

TruvaLink Notary is not responsible for:
• Changes after the inspection
• Hidden or inaccessible issues
• Incomplete access to the property
• Decisions made based on inspection reports

Merchant site visits confirm visible information only and do not guarantee business legitimacy beyond the scope of the visit.

6. Digital Estate & Legacy Planning Services (Snug)

TruvaLink Notary offers access to digital estate planning tools through third-party providers. We do not:
• Draft, review, or validate documents
• Guarantee legal compliance
• Offer legal guidance
• Provide attorney review

Your use of third-party estate planning tools is at your own risk.
You must consult an attorney for legal questions or complex estate planning needs.

7. Payments, Fees & Cancellations

All fees must be paid at the time of booking.
Fees are non-refundable for:
• Completed services
• Missed appointments
• Client-side technical issues
• Third-party document rejection
• Late or same-day cancellations

Additional fees may apply for travel, after-hours appointments, rush service, or additional signers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TruvaLink Notary is not liable for:
• Financial losses
• Delays in transactions
• Recording issues
• Document errors or omissions
• Decisions made based on inspection results
• Third-party system outages
• Loss of data
• Unauthorized practice of law claims caused by client requests

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with any service is discontinuation of use.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TruvaLink Notary, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors from any claims arising from:
• Your documents
• Your actions or omissions
• Misrepresentation
• Improper notarization requests
• Misuse of reports or documents
• Violations of state notary law

10. No Guarantee of Acceptance

We do not guarantee that counties, lenders, courts, insurers, or agencies will accept your:
• Notarized documents
• RON-based documents
• Inspection reports
• Estate planning documents

Acceptance policies vary by institution.

11. Third-Party Services

We use third-party platforms for scheduling, identity verification, digital signing, and estate planning.
TruvaLink Notary is not responsible for outages, system failures, or data issues caused by third parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, with venue in Hillsborough County.

13. TruvaLink Notary Partner Program (Notary Contractors)

By applying to join our network as a Network Notary or Preferred Notary, you agree to the following:

13.1 Independent Contractor Status

All Notaries are independent contractors and not employees of TruvaLink.

13.2 Credentials & Requirements

Notaries must maintain:
• An active commission
• E&O insurance (if applicable)
• A valid ID
• Reliable transportation
• Compliance with state law

13.3 Compensation

Preferred Notaries earn 70% of the signing fee on eligible assignments.
Network Notaries receive assignments at TruvaLink’s discretion.

Membership fees for Preferred Notaries ($30/month) are non-refundable.

13.4 No Guaranteed Work

Assignment volume is not guaranteed and depends on region, performance, and demand.

13.5 Conduct & Compliance

Notaries must follow:
• All state notary laws
• TruvaLink Notary procedures
• UPL (unauthorized practice of law) restrictions
• Professional standards

13.6 Indemnification

Notaries are responsible for their own errors and must indemnify TruvaLink for:
• Improper notarizations
• Misconduct
• Missed appointments
• Legal violations
• Document errors

14. Field Inspector Partner Terms

Field Inspectors are also independent contractors.
They must provide accurate, photo-verified reports and follow TruvaLink Notary standards.

TruvaLink Notary is not liable for:
• Missed observations
• Hidden defects
• Access limitations
• Decisions based on reports

Inspectors must indemnify TruvaLink Notary for errors, omissions, and non-compliance.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, accessing our platform, or participating in any partner program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
