FIELD INSPECTOR AGREEMENT (Independent Contractor Agreement)

TruvaLink Field Inspector Agreement

This Field Inspector Agreement (“Agreement”) is between TruvaLink Notary (“Company”) and the applying Field Inspector (“Contractor”).

1. Independent Contractor Status

Contractor operates as an independent contractor and is responsible for:
• Their own taxes and insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone/camera equipment
• Following inspection instructions
• Meeting deadlines

2. Inspection Requirements

Contractor must:
• Provide clear photos
• Document visible conditions only
• Follow all checklists
• Communicate scheduling issues quickly
• Submit reports on time
• Maintain respectful conduct during visits

Contractor may NOT:
• Move personal items
• Enter restricted areas
• Perform repairs or touch hazards
• Provide property valuations
• Make subjective or speculative comments

3. Compensation

Contractor is paid per completed assignment.
No hourly pay, benefits, or reimbursements are provided.

Payments may be withheld or adjusted for:
• Late reports
• Poor-quality photos
• Incomplete submissions
• Failure to follow instructions

4. Safety & Access

Contractor must never enter unsafe environments.
If access is denied or unsafe, the Contractor must notify TruvaLink immediately.

5. Liability & Indemnification

Contractor agrees to indemnify TruvaLink for all losses arising from:
• Report inaccuracies
• Misconduct
• Missed observations
• Trespassing
• Breach of instructions

TruvaLink is not responsible for injury, damage, or property issues encountered during inspections.

6. Termination

TruvaLink may remove any Contractor for:
• Poor performance
• Unsafe conduct
• Complaints
• False reporting
